KSBP’s taxiway lighting system is getting a facelift between now and July.

The revamp is set to bring new underground wiring, aboveground fixtures, and lighted signs to San Luis. These updates will be made in the wee small hours of the morning, so do not plan on flying into SBP or operating on any taxiways after midnight any time soon.

The airport will be closed from 0000-0430 local time during these dates:

5/15 through 5/20

5/22 through 5/27

5/30 through 6/3

6/5 through 6/10

6/12 through 6/17

6/19 through 6/24

No daytime closures are planned as of now, though the county will notify us if anything changes. NOTAMs will be issued for each of the listed closings.
