Who Asked You?

Have you ever asked a pilot for advice? I made the mistake of doing so yesterday.

When asked what advice they would give to private pilot students, my staff of flight instructors went above and beyond to provide “helpful” insights.

Without further ado…

Dane Lindgren, CFI CFII IGI:

“If you push the yoke forward, houses get bigger. Pull the yoke back, houses get smaller.”

P.K. Meisser, CFI CFII MEI:

“If you’re too right of centerline, there’s another direction you can turn called…left.”

Jacob Racho-Luis, CFI CFII MEI:

“If you remember the number 7500, you can make friends anytime, anywhere.”

P.K., again:

“If oil pressure is getting low in flight, just stick it with an inop sticker.”

Dane, again:

“Label, disable, and forget about it.”

Emmie Smith, CFI CFII MEI:

“MORE RIGHT RUDDER!!!!”

… if you take anything out of this fleeting chronicle, let it be the comforting fact that we are all humans and can’t resist a chance to garner laughs.
